The staff were very friendly, and the room was nice. It was also fairly soundproof, and as it was New Year's Eve and people were partying across the street with music playing, you had to stand in the window to hear it, so that didn't bother us. The bar was nice and the lobby was large and clean. We weren't far from the elevators and the ice machine, but never heard a sound from either. The drapes were very light blocking and fit right so they didn't blow out when the fan under them was on. The air in there was not dry so we never woke up with a sore throat, as happens in many hotels we've stayed at.

He is a high-energy person with a great attitude. The location was central to several places within walking distance, which is helpful if you need to be downtown.
